Chris from good guys garage doors went above and beyond to fix my broken door and get it working better than it did when it was brand new. I will definitely use good guys garage doors for any future repairs. Chris showed up the same day I called and communicated every step of the way. Their price was hundreds cheaper than another quote I got and they didn't give me any hassle. A+++ thanks Chris!!

We had water leaking underneath our garage door and when it was opened/closed it rattled pretty badly. Good Guys sent Austin out to take a look and he recommended a maintenance kit and a separate new seal to fix these problems. We felt that the total price (parts/labor) was pretty reasonable considering it included a 3 year warranty (springs, rollers, etc...) and now it sounds like it's brand new again! Austin was a clean cut, knowledgeable, and a consumate professional. We highly recommend Good Guys for anyone looking to have their garage door repaired or replaced.

After an accident with the emergency opener of my garage door, I needed help quickly when I backed into it, bent it and got it off the track. Good Guys were the only ones who could help me the same day and I'm glad they were there to help me out. The office staff was great when they called to schedule, and Chris arrived right on time. He was very professional and thorough, and after explaining the options, the repair that he completed was excellent. I was right back in business....he also pointed out a few items I might want to change out given the age of the door. The price I paid for the repair and new rollers was well worth it - I'm very happy with Good Guys and will make them my go-to for garage door needs. Posted in December 2023...September, 2026Here we are 3 years later and lots of rentals in between. I still highly recommend Good Guys...they were excellent start to finish. From scheduling my appointment to John's completion of a tune up, I couldn't have asked for more....he was timely, thorough, professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Good Guys for living up to you name and surpassing expectations!

I recently had a new garage door opener, put in with new springs and all the fixings. The quote this place gave me was right in the middle of other quotes. I had gotten from other places so I was happy to just get it done on the day technician John showed up. Install took about an hour and a half I think and John gave me thorough directions on how to work the new Lift master. I travel a lot and when I got back, the garage was making a little bit of noise on the way up. I called good guys and they sent out John again and he fixed the problem. I was told it was under warranty so I didn’t get charged a service fee which is very good customer service as that would’ve not made me happy as a customer. Overall, the garage door works better than ever, and I’m very happy with choosing the good guys over other competitors. Technician John was very knowledgeable and I definitely recommend him if you do call this place maybe ask for him. I would highly recommend this place as they offer good service, good warranties, and most of all a reasonable price compared to some of the higher competitors. Thank you good guys and I will definitely be recommending you guys in the future

I usually do most of my own home improvement needs; however, today I realized that I needed some additional assistance. After receiving replacement torsion springs that I had ordered, I realized they were the wrong size. I needed the job completed and couldn’t wait until next weekend. By chance, I decided to see if there was anyone open on a Sunday. I wasn’t expecting to get ahold of anyone. Good Guys Garage Doors was the call I made, and I so glad that I did. Not only did they answer the call, they had a technician out the same day. Austin, our technician, was awesome! He assessed our needs for repair and presented us with a series of options that were all reasonable. The work was done quickly and the results are outstanding! From the beginning, with Wendy answering our call, to the completion of the work by Austin, I was impressed with every aspect of the evolution. Unfortunately, I am probably going to have to break my door again just to have them come back if I want this top-level service again! Thank you greatly, Good Guys Garage Doors!

KJ is so friendly and informative! New garage door was installed in an hour and he helped program our keypad!**Update*** KJ came back a couple weeks later to make some minor adjustments. Called this company to do a check on my garage door that opened very slowly. Meg who answered was friendly & engaging. John came out and he thoroughly checked my garage motor, door, etc. He was very professional, explained things in layman’s terms, recommended what needs to be replaced and/fixed, but did not push me to get them. I even asked if he can do the job any other day cause of the heat wave, but he said he’ll still do it. Hire this company!! Shout out to John, he did a great job replacing my garage motor, installing new springs and installing the keyholes so I can open the garage manually as well. Definitely will book them again if I need services. Thank you again, John & Good Guys Garage doors!!

Great experience and good advice. They gave a bunch of options to fit into several budgets. Honest and open salesman who also installed. He wasn't trying to "sell" anything, he was just trying to solve my problem at the best budget with the criteria I gave him. I would recommend to others. Do your research, but if you have a garage door problem, I would give these guys a call.

I loved that they offered to come out and do a diagnosis w no charge.Rick who services 92620 was incredible with a ton of knowledge and honesty. He didn’t try to force a pressured sale. Of course they will ask you when your last tune up was once they come. Everyone should be routinely tuning up their garage. I was within a year of one, but that didnt phase or pressure Rick. He kept being respectful and gave advise for upcoming needs. They trained their ppl very well w incredible customer service as a pillar.

My experience with Good Guys was amazing! By far, the best customer service in a long time! Megan and Tatiana were very helpful on the phone however I really chose Good Guys because of Chase, he was outstanding, honest and hardworking. The only Fix-It advice I could give would be on the estimate set up they use. Chase gave me an estimate while he was here based off of my Needs & Wants which was very helpful however then I got a new email with new estimates where things were moved around and not set to my needs. I did have to call back and get an exact estimate for what I wanted. I suggest leaving the estimates that were provided at the initial meet for the customer to utilize, when they come behind and change it it makes you feel like you're not being heard. Again, I absolutely love the customer service I was provided and we'll definitely be referring family to Good Guys!

We've been working with Chris for over 10+ years on garage maintenance and repair. He's always been prompt and courteous taking the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer any questions we have. The most recent visit he replaced a broken spring which had us trapped as the door was too hard to lift. He also pointed out some cracked hinges that he was able to replace promptly. The whole job was done perfectly without a hitch. Looking forward to working with him in the future!

I called Sears Garage Solutions in the afternoon when my garage door wouldn't open. The dispatcher, Megan, was very helpful and arranged a service call between 4 and 7 PM that day. The technician, Kevin Lindeman, showed up at 4PM and quickly gave me the options and prices. I choose repairing my existing drive. Kevin quickly replaced the gear mechanism and lubed all the friction points in the drive and the garage door. He then fixed several things for the original price; he remounted a bracket that was pulling out of the wood, he added a cross brace and a ceiling bolt to reduce vibration, and he installed a bolt to prevent one side from coming off the track. My opener is now quieter and smooth. I am delighted with the service, the price and the quick response.

My garage door was operating erratically. I called Sears and they sent out a repair tech named Kevin. Kevin professionally assessed the problem and recommended a solution. Because parts were not on hand he had to order them. Upon his return he not only fixed my garage door opener but he helped me program the remotes in my two vehicles. He also replaced the remote and the outside remote and programmed both. He helped me with making certain that the ADT Pulse System garage door opener interface functioned properly. Finally he recommended light replacements for the unit and installed the ones I gave him. Finally, he lubricated and inspected the door, fittings, spring assembly, chain drive and the motor on the main unit drive. I call that full professional service. I thank Kevin and Sears for such great support.

Monday the garage door slammed when closing, and after that was straining to open. I called Tuesday and they came today, 2 hours early!!! Woo hoo! Since the entire electric garage system is 20 yrs old, I feared the worse. But, just a broken spring. The tech was professional, friendly, clean and explained everything I NEEDED to have done, as well as what would need to be addressed in the future. He was quick and efficient and was realistic about future maintenance without trying to sell me everything. I will absolutely use them again. Very pleased!

I called Sears for garage door repair and they had someone come to my house the next day. My technician was Marcus very friendly knowledgeable and honest. I was gonna have a 2nd opinion but after talking to him he changed our mind. My husband and I are unemployed temporarily because of the covid19 which I mentioned to him and he gave use a AAA disc which We are members. We appreciate any kind of disc that can help our hardship he also gave use a good vibe. We said let’s get it done. My garage door opens and is a lot quieter now we are so pleased with his work. Thank you Marcus!

Our garage door has been a little bit of trouble intermittently so we decided to call Chris at Sears. The evening before Chris was to arrive here for a tuneup two of the main cables in the garage door snapped. We were able to secure the garage and close it for the evening. We left a telephone message on their website late that night saying could we get someone in the morning. Sure enough like clockwork Tatiana at the office called and assign Chris to us later that day. Chris arrived on time even with an email alerting us to his estimated time of arrival. He showed me different options, we selected the best way for us to go replacing rollers fixing the cables and adjusting the garage door. Took him about three hours, great guy absolutely willing to please and said that he wanted our door to be as safe as his door is at home and did not overlook any details. Chris is a rockstar will definitely use these guys again.

I asked a neighbor who installed their garage door/opener. She couldn't say enough good things about Marcus Kennom, a certified technician at Sears Garage Solutions. I made an appointment to replace my existing old noisy unit. Marcus did not disappoint, but rather exceeded my expectations with his service, professionalism, knowledge, personality, and of course, installation and product. My new garage door mechanism is ultra quiet, much smaller than what it replaced and I could not be happier.

Excellent service from Chris every year. It is so great that Chris has been our technician in another of our homes and the consistency of follow-through means better service. When we moved into our present new home, Chris was able to identify and correct a major problem with our new garage door that even the installers were at a loss to fix. We welcome someone who is truly expert at knowledge of garage doors.

They were prompt for the appointment (they even were available to come a little earlier if we wanted.) They addressed our concern about suspicious noises when the garage door was opened, tightened up everything, eliminated the noises, and explained everything clearly. I was happy to have the peace of mind that a 300 or 400 pound garage door was not going to crash.
